MGA wants to give a shout-out to one of our amazing partners in the local non-profit community, Mikayla Pitts. Mikayla is the founder of “YOU ARE MORE.”
Mikayla started You Are More because of a story she read about two little girls who committed suicide. She knew in her heart that she needed to do something. She started sharing her story about her struggles with mental health and her healing journey. She wants girls and women to know that they are not alone, and she hopes that by sharing her own story it encourages others to share theirs.
The mission statement for You Are More is: all girls and women deserve a chance to be happy, free, and grow to the fullest potential.
